Practical strategies to help you work with your ADHD—not against it
Therapy for adult ADHD
Seattle, WA & across PSYPACT states
Do you keep wondering, “Why can’t I get it together?”
Pulling an all-nighter to finish something on time, only to feel exhausted afterward
Starting task after task and feeling overwhelmed by everything left unfinished
Feeling paralyzed because you don’t know where to start
Procrastinating again and wondering why it keeps happening
Forgetting important deadlines, bills, meetings, or appointments, leaving you—and the people around you—frustrated
Feeling like a failure because you don’t seem to be able to follow through
It’s exhausting to keep trying harder, only to feel like it’s never enough. Especially when you genuinely want to stay on top of things that matter most to you.
You keep telling yourself you’ll do better tomorrow. You promise yourself that you’ll get more organized. This time, you’ll finally stay on top of everything. Then something else grabs your attention before you even realize it. By the time you come back to your list, it feels even bigger than before.
Somehow, you find yourself back in the same cycle again—and you start wondering what’s wrong with you.
How therapy for adult ADHD works
You’ve been overwhelmed. You’ve been perceived as lazy or unreliable. The whole time, you’ve been trying so hard to stay on top of things. Instead of forcing yourself into systems that work for other people, we’ll build strategies that fit the way your brain naturally works. You’ll develop lifelong habits to navigate daily life with more confidence—whether you take ADHD medications or not.
My approach is informed by years of helping Veterans with ADHD at the VA, where I facilitated an ADHD skills group and developed patient education materials to support evidence-based ADHD treatment.
We’ll first understand what’s been getting in your way before deciding which strategies are worth changing.
You’ll keep what’s already working in your toolbox while we build new strategies for the areas where you feel stuck.
We’ll work together to practice new strategies.
You’ll practice these strategies between sessions, and we’ll problem-solve what worked and what didn’t.

Feel more accomplished and productive, with less shame and guilt holding you back

You don’t need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with me. I work with adults who have ADHD as well as adults who experience attention-related difficulties and want to build practical strategies for everyday life. If you plan to seek reimbursement through your insurance using a superbill, a diagnosis and your specific insurance plan may affect your eligibility for reimbursement.
